Aromatherapy Ear Candles

Aromatherapy Ear Candles

Ear Candles have become popular over the last few years with many enthusiasts stating positive physical and spiritual effects from having an ear candle treatment.

Where Does Ear Candling Come From?

It’s not entirely certain, but it is believed to have originated either in North America, China or somewhere in Europe. (So, could’ve been anywhere really!). It’s been around for over 2000 years, although, some people don’t agree that ear candling is effective.

How Do You Use Ear Candles?

  • Therefore, lay on your side, affected ear facing upwards of course and place the hollow side of the candle into the ear hole (you use the small ‘disc’ here to stop any wax dripping where it shouldn’t by putting the candle through it). Hold the candle straight.

  • Burn the candle for approx 10 - 15 minutes. Cutting off the burnt fabric as you go along. The candle is to burn down to approx 3-4 inches before snuffing it out.

  • Wax is not meant to drip into the ear - so be careful.

The above action is said to create a suction, therefore loosening the ear wax. This cannot be performed on oneself.

These particular ear candles are made from unbleached natural cotton and beeswax and are scented with Rose, Lavender and Orange essential oils. An information leaflet and a protective disc is provided.

Ancient Wisdom Ear Candles are sold in packs of ten.
