Can you gift wrap my order?

We do not currently offer a gift wrapping service. Orders are packed in eco-friendly, unmarked new and recycled packaging.

What payments do you accept and is it safe?

Safety is of utmost importance and I use two different third party providers, which accept payments taken from your debit or credit card - securely! You have the choice at checkout to either pay via PayPal or Stripe. Both are highly secure ways to use your usual bank card to pay for goods. You do not need to have a Paypal account to checkout with them as their is a 'guest' option.

Where do you deliver to?

Currently lovely-gifts sells mainly to UK customers. However, in the near future there will be European destinations added. If you are outside of the UK and see something of interest, I am more than happy to quote for the delivery to your Country. Use the Contact form (new window), to make an enquiry.

What happens if an item arrives faulty, or damaged in transit?

This can be found in full here http://www.lovely-gifts.co.uk/info/terms-and-conditions but in short, I require photographic evidence for any item under £15 in value and whereby a replacement will be dispatched.

How long after an item is dispatched will I receive my order?

Orders will be delivered within 3-5 working days after dispatch by Royal Mail or Courier. *

Do you keep hold of stock?

I work with a UK wholesale and Dropship Company whom delivers a majority of the products sold on my website. This allows me to keep my overheads low and in turn, that means I can stick to RRP's and even offer multi-buy savings, as well as reduced stock prices as well. Therefore, if you order more than one item from different departments, you may get the items delivered separately, but on the same day of delivery.

What if I change my mind after ordering?

Under the online distance selling act, customers buying online are entitled to 30 days money back 'change of mind' period. This is something 'lovely gifts and pieces' uphold. Customer service is a high priority and I always try to do the best by my customers. That said, there are terms and conditions that apply so that as an online seller, I can refuse such a request should an item have been opened, or partly used. What are Lovely-Gifts.co.uk business ethics?

There are several areas of concern with Companies trading outside of Europe especially in regards to ethical trading, as well as being eco-friendly minded too. This is something lovely-gifts are more than proud to be able to offer in the products that are sourced from around the globe. My Supplier visit the Countries / Families of tradespeople and craftsmen / women in there home and work environments. They ensure that a fair wage is paid and there work place is comfortable and safe to work in.

Countries such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, Bali and China have specialist crafts people with amazing skills, creating wonderful pieces from either sustainable woods into lovely wood gifts and decorative pieces to hand-crafting bags made from fast growing jute, cotton and canvas. Then there's the beautifully handmade fashion jewellery pieces, whereby to the best of our knowledge it is all nickel free, there's nothing we stock if it's made from animal bone or anything that has been tested on animals.

However it is virtually impossible for any company to claim that all the basic ingredients that go in to a product have never** been tested on animals. It is simply impossible to make such a claim.


What I can state however is that as far as possible only natural, pure ingredients are used in bath and body products -  I use only reputable suppliers who hold these kinds of principles and who endeavour to produce entirely cruelty free product.
